Редакция получила сообщение от о. Николая Семёнова о том, что его выселение из дома по проискам шкурловцев, намеченное на 5 января 2005 -- за два дня до Рождества Христова! -- отсрочено и, может быть, там удастся даже отслужить Пасху.

Но помещение приобретать нужно и брюссельская община РПЦЗ(В) просит помочь ей в этом, см. ниже.

Editors just received information from Fr. Nicolas Semenoff that his eviction by shkurlovaites, originally scheduled for Jan. 5, 2005 -- two days before Christmas! -- has been postponed and chances are that he'll be able to serve there even The Resurrection of Our Lord.

Eventually, however, he will have to leave. Therefore, your help is needed more than ever, please see below.

ПРИХОЖАН ХРАМА-ПАМЯТНИКА В БРЮССЕЛЕ

Всем известный Храм-Памятник св.Царя-Мученика Николая в Брюсселе -- лампада Русского зарубежья -- созданный русской эмиграцией, рассеянной по всему миру, с любовью к своему царю и России, в течение 16-ти лет, имел настоятелем преданного отца Николая Семёнова.

После раскола в РПЦЗ в 2000 г., о. Николай остался верным Митрополиту Виталию и был отстранён от дел иерархией Архиепископа Лавра, круто повернувшего курс на соединение с Московской Патриархией.

Теперь стало известно, что трёхлетняя судебная тяжба за сохранение храма за РПЦЗ(В) проиграна и прототиерей Николай Семёнов вскоре должен будет освободить дом, принадлежащий Храму-Памятнику, где  он проживает с семьёю и где последние годы совершает священнослужения в устроенной им домовой церкви, собирающей в среднем 50 человек за богослужениями.

Мы обращаемся к Вам с настоятельной просьбой о материальной помощи для приобретения дома, в котором батюшка мог бы снова создать храм церковь и продолжать окормлять наш приход, а также жить со своей семьёй.

AN APPEAL FROM THE PARISHIONERS OF THE MEMORIAL CATHEDRAL IN BRUSSELS

The widely-known Memorial Cathedral of Holy Tsar-Martyr Nicholas -- the icon-lamp of the Russian Diaspora -- which the Russian emigre community, dispersed throughout the world, had lovingly created in commemoration of their Tsar and Russia, has had the devoted Father Nikolai Semenov as its dean for a period of 16 years.

Following the schism that occurred within ROCOR in the year 2000, Fr. Nikolai remained faithful to Metropolitan Vitaly and was discharged from the performance of his duties by the hierarchy of Archbishop Lavr, which had veered sharply toward a union with the Moscow Patriarchate.

We have lost the three-year-long lawsuit [between ROCOR (L) and ROCOR (V)] and Proto-priest Nikolai Semenov is being evicted from the house (belonging to the Cathedral) in which he resides together with his family, and wherein, in the course of the last few years, he has been officiating at divine services in the house-church that he had established, with an average attendance of 50.

We appeal to you with an urgent request for material assistance in acquiring accommodations in which batiushka [Reverend Father] could again create a house-church and continue to provide [spiritual] nourishment for our parish, as well as being able to reside there, together with his family.
